It seems so fast that 2014 is coming to an end and tomorrow will be whole new year. It's surprising and at the same time frightening how time can pass so fast.
2014 were spent in JC mugging away and suddenly i freed from studying(for at least a few more months)
This feeling is so unreal though.
Feel like i have just entered MJC 2 days ago and having orientation, but i've graduated and am playing and working now~
2014 in a nutshell :
January: MJC Open house~ Remember going crazy preparing for it ~ And on the day itself it kept raining and stoping make us all so ganchiong
Just part of us with our new archery shirt~
February: Chinese New Year, went to coach house to bai nian for 1st time.
March: new J1 archers came in and had orientation prepared for them. Had archery camp too!(another hard work sigh, but glad it was fun hehe) Participated in compound competition for the 1st time and won 3rd in team hehe by luck also la
Just the girls from both J1 and J2~
April: Attended MJC drama performance, also the first time i ever watched a real drama performance, you know not those kinds in school
May: Archery 2014 Interschool, participated in 50m women category and got 2nd Individual, 2nd team. Cheered on for MJC soccer boys in their finals, which is also the 1st ever time i watched a soccer match live and experienced the cheers etc
1st day competition, all the 50m and 70m peeps, with our supporters, teachers and coaches ~
Proud that so many won prizes back
2nd day competition, all the 30m peeps, with supporters, teachers and coaches~
Brought back overall 2nd in both male and female
ALL OF US, SO COOL RIGHT HEHE
June: NUS indoor competition, participated in intermediate female and got into top 16, but got knocked out in 1st round T_T
July: YAY I TURN 18~ but birthday on exam sighh~
August: National Day! Instead of the usual boring performances, MJC had night movie for us and it was quite fun eating and watching w classmates ~
September: Prelims ~~~ And baked red velvet cupcake too! ^-^
Many of which i just did the normal swirl and for some i had fun writing things ~
October: I've graduated ! :D
November: A level !!!!! Chiong ahhhhh
December: A LEVEL OVER~ PROM!!!
Throughout 2014, many things happened that were not written here, but this very incident that many of my friends know will forever be remembered. It taught me many things even though things turned ugly.
- Communication between everyone is very important.
- Everyone makes mistakes and chances should be given. Giving up on someone isn't what i should do.
- Respect is earned, not demanded not expected. You do what you expect others to do.
- Credits for working hard should be deserved.
- There's never 1 way that fits all. Different people response differently and hence different approaches work on people differently.
- Patience and endurance is the key
- When things turn ugly, it hurts not just the person but yourself too.
- There are all kinds of people and the closest friend may be the one speaking bad about you behind your back.
Friends who seem like they don't really care may be the ones standing up for you in times of difficulty. And i honestly thank everyone who helped me, encouraged me and motivate me during the incident.
Despite all the events that happened at the first half of the year, i must say the 2nd half of the year was great except all the muggings for A levels. So tired omg. But at least everything's over and i hope my effort pay off when i receive the results *pray hard
Regardless of everything that happened in 2014, 2015 is a new chapter in my life, is a new book I'm going to write. I hope it will be all good and despite of any events that may happen, may i come out stronger and tougher.
Thank you 2014.}
